Ellington Ridge Country Club
All proceeds will support the Brian Dagle Foundation to directly support their grief & loss programs and their community-wide suicide prevention and education.
We are pleased to announce that Caitlin Francis, Anchor/Reporter with WFSB, will be joining us on June 9th and will serve as the honorary chair of the tournament.
"I am deeply humbled to have been asked to be honorary chair for the Tim Connolly Memorial Golf Tournament. I grew up with the Connolly's, being inseparable from Tim's youngest sister, MaryKate, in the Ellington Public School system. The loss we all feel in the small town of Ellington, and beyond, is immeasurable. But I am honored to be a very small part in the efforts to help keep Tim's memory alive and raise awareness and resources to this important cause."
We are excited to welcome Litchfield Distillery to our tournament providing samples of their award-winning spirits!
On June 9th, 2025, we will be hosting the Tim Connolly Memorial Golf Tournament at Ellington Ridge Country Club. The purpose of this event is to raise money for suicide prevention awareness and to support families like ours who have experienced the loss of a loved one to suicide.
Sadly, on June 3, 2021, our beloved son, Timothy Michael Connolly, passed away, in the prime of his short life. Tim was 36 years old and was an amazing son, husband, brother, nephew, son-in-law, uncle, cousin, colleague and friend. He was a well-respected, fun-loving and amazing anesthesiologist at Weill Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital. Tim graduated from Ellington High School in 2003 and continued his education at Boston College, Tufts Medical School, StonyBrook Hospital and finally at NYP. He loved his family, his job, all of his friends and colleagues and NYC.
All profits from this tournament will be donated to the Brian Dagle Foundation (brianshealinghearts.org). Based in Niantic, the Brian Dagle Foundation, a 501C-3 non-profit organization, does incredible work to support suicide prevention and helps families such as ours, who have experienced the pain and suffering from having lost a loved one to suicide.
It is our hope that you will review our attached brochure and support our efforts on June 9th by being a sponsor. We are so grateful for your help as we try to help others by remembering Tim’s love of family, friends and community.
